However, finding a customizable, hands-on solution that allowed realistic simulations across sectors was a significant challenge.

Solution

GITAC partnered with ���ϳԹ���, utilizing its Cyber Drills and hands-on labs to simulate a National Infrastructure Collapse scenario. Nearly 100 key stakeholders from critical sectors participated in the first nationwide cyber drill. This immersive exercise exposed gaps in crisis management strategies and encouraged collaboration across various sectors, such as government, finance, energy, and healthcare.

Outcome

The cyber drill was deemed highly effective, receiving praise for its realism and impact. It highlighted the need for improved decision-making, collaboration, and information sharing during crises. The National Information and Cybersecurity Center recognized the drill as an important step toward enhancing Georgia’s cybersecurity resilience and committed to continuing annual national cyber simulations.
